The guy I'm buying the trailer from emailed this image this morning.  I gather it was his project to complete yesterday.

Pretty amazing work is what I thought too.  Got to wonder how much "finish" work there with a tool finer than the chainsaw?  In any case it's pretty darned impressive.

Don't have any idea.  It's also not the trailer guy's problem.  He was the artist hired by the homeowner to do the job.  He later told me that he's a "purist" chain saw artist.  Every cut is done with a chain saw of some size or another.

Looks like he uses good stuff too:  Husqvarna...........or is it a Stihl?  Either way, it doesn't matter.  Both are good saws.  I'm partial to Husqvarna myself.  I think if I was him, and after I did something that awesome........even if I was getting paid to do it, I'd have to find a way to preserve it.  That is just entirely too pretty of a piece of art to let sit there, turn grey and rot away to termites.  Perhaps Borax would work.........except it would turn blue.  Nah!

Well.....

The little trailer is here.  But I'm now out for the Nelson trip.  So it's immediate use and fun are postponed.   UPS has delivered a hitch, a chrome rear bumper to add to it, a little air pump that Bushtec wants you to use and a liner bag to attach inside the lid.  The whole rig was going to be pretty nicely set up to go.  Then no go.

Anyone wanna buy a trailer (I'm grumpy)?

Hang in there Bro. I'm thinking it doesn't have to be a long ride to have use for the trailer. You can take it to Hot Springs fill it up w/beer and ice and have a "tailgate party". Or should we call it a "trailer party"? ;D
