Sounds as if you and Jacques in France are having the same weather as here in Scotland!  I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever get to ride my new bike!!! :'(

Bonjour, Jacques.

TM is somewhere between here and Chicago - I suspect sitting in a large pile in UK Customs!  :nixweiss:

Jim

Actually, that is no longer accurate, Jacques!   It's sitting here on my desk, having arrived 5 minutes ago!  :carrot: :carrot:

I'm so impatient than you to know the results. :huepfenjump3:

Ok ! two days with bad weather for the mounting   :sweatdrop: and the week end, the sun ! 8)
Is it right for the planning ?

Bonjour Bruno,  :vrolijk_26:

It's possible to download the last version (J) of SERT here :
http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=11768.0  :2vrolijk_21:

You have the full CD with User's Manuel, software and maps (with maps for HDI : international version).

It explain not how we manage the flaps because the map #94 is for HDI 110 CVO with A/C SE and race exhaust.
If we mount a SE A/C, we dismount the flapper when we change the backplate. Probably the solution is eliminators.

I read never something about Kess Tech on this site but probably somebody uses these.

Perhaps it's interresting to look for the US exhaust mounted on the CUSE² ...... (It's not the stock exhaust same us).  :-\

Do you have some snow in Paris, today ? Here it's snowy.  >:(

Best regards

 :vrolijk17:  Jacques

got the software on my bike, it eliminate both flappers, when you turn on the ignition the flapper motor opens and closes thats all, makes no more changes when you drive

You mean the SERT software, Dogols?   So you have the SE air cleaner, and the cable for the flapper not connected to anything?   And the valve still in the header pipe, but the cable disconnected so always open?

What about the O² sensors?  Are they used?  Still the OEM narrow band ones?

What sort of HP and torque figures do you have?

I'm impatient too!   :orange:  Now I have everything for the conversion except the muffler tips, so I need to order them.   I want to get 1500km on the bike before I do the conversion, and for that we need better weather!   Hoping to make a start on those kms this weekend though..... :huepfenlol2:

Which map do you have downloaded ? #94 (HDI) or #84 (US)
These maps are for 110 CVO with A/C SE and race exhausts.
Do you have changed your A/C and his backplate ?

Yes, that's my 1500km idea - the first inspection, then later that same day........   ;)

900km!  You are lucky!!!  It's so cold here, and if it's not raining, it's snowing, so once again we have salt on the roads. Ou est le printemps?  Pas ici!  C'est comme l'hiver!!!! I want it to rain heavily till Thursday, to wash the salt away, dry up on Friday, and be warm and sunny on Saturday!  ::)

Bonjour Jim,

I found this changement in the new version J of SERT : (see attached file)
Now it's possible :
to disable/enable active exhaust
to disable/enable active intake
to enable/disable active compression release
and modified calibrations for FLT bikes (better fuel economy).

It's probably the explanation for Dogols and it means in this case that it's possible to dismount the flaps without DTC errors. Dogols had not finished the work !

It's better for the SERT solution but not so powerful than the TM/AT.

Also, I've compared the maps #84 (US) and #94 (HDI) :

Cal #84 --  S159MV002-A1.MT6
2007 Touring Exhaust with O2 Sensors
Configuration: 1800 SE A/C & Race Exhaust
Components:
SE Air Cleaner and Breather Kit P/N 29440-99C
  Race Exhaust

Cal #94 --  S159QF001-A1.MT6
2007 HDI Touring Exhaust with O2 Sensors
Configuration: CVO 1800 SE A/C & Race Exhaust
Components:
SE Air Cleaner and Breather Kit P/N 29440-99C
  Race Exhaust

It's exactly the same parameters in all tables.
No differences !!!

Morning Jacques.  Interesting!  Just as in previous years, HD has eventually bowed to pressure.  It's better than nothing, but isn't going to be great for power....  And at the end of the day, a dyno is still going to be necessary to get the best from the SERT, I guess.

Bonsoir Jim,

Bruno (Paris) phoned me and after a discussion :
do you think that the US CVO exhaust are more noisy than our stock exhaust ?

He spokes with his dealer and he'll change the A/C for SE A/C, donwload SERT HDI but concerning the exhaust, he need to buy a set of exhaust in US because it's pricey in Europe.
He wish to buy a set just a little bit more noisy than stock.
