Pumba I just took some measurements, the inside diameter of the bushing inside the inlet would accommodate a 1.6 Core drill I have seen them 12 to 14 in in length which would cut a perfect hole using the inlet tube for alignment.

Great thanks.  However, where would I find one?  Not Home Depot?

180090548038   check this number on E-Bay its basically what your seeking although the diameter is a little to large, if you can contact the Co maybe they can furnish the correct size, The diamond tipped ones cut through reinforced concrete so the CAT should not be a problem.

That number didn't bring up anything on eBay.  Any thing else I can try?

I have an 06 CVO Ultra...those muffs are VERY quiet, in my opinion.  Too quiet...and that's on a 103" motor which "kicks" a bit harder than the 88", so they will be even quieter on it.  You might get Fulsac to do a conversion on them to open them up a bit, and they would probably sound pretty good.  Are you running stock headpipes?  If you want an extra pair to send off to Fulsac and have modified, I've got a totally unused pair in a box...

TC, You have me thinking, What would it take to get your pipes into my shop?

PM me with what you think they're worth...they've never been run on the bike.
