I installed the passing lamps myself and found a nice chrome slip on braid to cover the wiring.  I routed the wiring out from under the slider and because its chrome covered, you cannot see them without really looking.  No where near the windshield brackets.

Just reread your posting, did you mean you went on the outside of the aux lighting bracket? The part about going under the slider is where I am confused.  Thanks, jj

I'm with twojay.  I'd love to see a photo of your install.  The source for the braided slip on material would be great too!  Thanks!

Sure would be good to get some details and pics before I have to install these babies on my SERK.

The source for the wire cover as well as the heat shrink tubing is the link below.  It's really cheap at this site.  I bought the 5/16" Chrome Xc and grey and clear heat shrink tubing.  In the picture, you can see that I need to cut the grey heatshrink tubing back a bit.  I like it better than the black cable and it is not near the windshield.  :bananarock: :orange: :apple: :jalapeno:

This my first picture attachment so it may not work.  You might need to zoom on the left side (from drivers point of view) to see better.   :pineapple:

Thanks for the pic - looks like a nice neat job especially with the braided sleeve.  :2vrolijk_21:
