New Jersey Rides
« on: March 08, 2007, 09:20:11 AM »

I live in Central New Jersey and I wanted to find out if there are any CVO owners in the area who would like to ride. I don't see too many CVO bikes around. The riding season is coming soon, I can't wait!!

Hey Josh, that's stretching it calling Hunterdon County "Central Jersey". ;D

Anyway, I'm down at the "other" central jersey, Exit 98 on the GSP.
Not real close but I tend to head up that way when I can and my brother lives in Whitehouse Station.

Ever been to the Hill Climb in Freemansburg?

Yeah Scot, that's why I threw it in  8)

But us "Jerseyites" can relate to the "what exit". The GSP (Garden State Parkway) Goes from the bottom of NJ to the NY border, 172 miles long, so it is a good descriptor.

Besides, I think you might be jealous 'cause you ain't got no "Jersey Shore"  :huepfenjump3:

Well, I am very close to Whitehouse Station. I live neat Clinton, if you might know where that is. I could have said North Jersey but most think of that as being Warren, Sussex...  I have never been to the hill climbs but I hear that they are great. Let me know if you do head do this way.

Thanks,

Josh

Hey Josh,
I'm in South Jersey. "Note that South Jersey is anything below Trenton" I do get up your way once in a while. Hot Dog Johnny's, The Water Gap, Space Farm, Port Jarvis to name a few places. When the weather breaks and I'm back up your way I'll send you a note. If you ever get down my way give me a shout.... :coolblue: Dave

Hey Dave and Josh   what that space farm  about?

Space Farms is a small zoo and museum. Museum is a general stuff type, but they have a few cars and bikes along with all the other stuff. It is located pretty much near the top of the tri state area, Just south of High Point State Park.

Very familiar with the Clinton area. Great place for riding, there and north.

Freemansburg, PA, just east of Bethlehem, PA.

Usually held the 2nd Sunday in June and September. I have been going off and on for the past 30 years. It can be a fun day.

I think we have enough NJ CVO riders that we could do our own little ride GTG. North - South or West to PA, lot of good riding for day trips.
