This is a terribly terribly tempting thread. The red bike has already been given it's share of

spring projects this year. But seeing wheel and fender combinations is not treating fairly. You all are just being unkind.
Unkindness being the temptation that it is, however, a guy needs to do a little comparing. It looks like each of you but Free used identical or nearly identical fender blanks to start with. All the same vertical mount brackets to the fork with various differences in attaching hardware to complete the mount. Free's fender is more angular where it mates to the legs though. At least to my eye a more flowing and even softer look. Grover's has all that detail hardware all over the place to push it over the top. Don's is, of course, the right color. And Brian's had that cool-the-front-brakes-I-don't-need-no-stinking-calipers look going on.
They're all beautiful. No doubt about that. And as much similarity as they must share when trying to incorporate themselves in to the original paint schemes it's interesting to see the real differences in subtle styles and options selected in setting everything up. Really nice guys. Everyone should be proud. This is nice stuff
