Great look. I love the 21 and the fender only makes it better. Who did the paint work for you?

There's a local painter close to me here, that acouple of the H-D dealers use, He does do a great job. Boy! I put the old fender next to it and you can't tell the difference.

Don, you know if he's got any of the paint left?  I've got a rear fender extension from a Street Glide that I need to get painted a solid color and a set of lowers that were an eBay score that I'd like to get painted like the 04s were.  If someone is a sure bet to match it I'd rather ship the parts than take a gamble with someone else that hasn't made the match yet.

 what color was that 04? I will sure ask him I know that he likes to have the color codes it makes it alot easier. If he agree's what the best thing would be is for you to talk directly with him. You know like all painter he can be a pain in the !!! he won't answer he's phone unless he knows the number.

Don, my bike is a red 05 like yours.  The 04 lowers were two toned though; unlike our solid colored lowers on the 05s.  So when I got a chance to score a set of complete lowers and caps on eBay for $100 I thought I'd get them done up in a red version of what the 04s were.  But he'd be spraying exactly the same colors he did for your fender.

Be sure and report back on how your SEEG handles with the 21. I'm very interested in your feelings about cornering, control, even braking. Also your perspective on the aero changes resulting from a much smaller fender under the fairing and in front of the engine. Has it changed what you feel at highway speed?

The parts numbers I saw were all color matched to the various bikes.  Since they are VIN restricted apparently an owner is supposed to order only his bike's color.  That's why the one I've got here now is blue.  It'll need a face lift.  A light-ish baby blue kind of color just likes hinky on the red bike (I know, I had to hold it up against it!).

Great job Don! That 21" looks great on there. Good look with the rear lowered with the Legends! How does it ride with the 21 up front? Great paint job too! Hoist!

Well Bandanagirl and I made about a three hundred mile ride today to Half Moon Bay to Santa Cruz and back, I've had the 21" rim & tire almost from the time I've had the bike and it's my first Bagger, so it's hard to know a difference I personally like the ride and the way it handles, no problem with the cornering, braking, and Hwy speed I've had  it to a hundred acouple of times today No wobble at all. Very happy.
