Hey Howie - you read my mind like a book. That is exactly the A/C cover I was thinking about. So, never mind this ch*t about being VIN number rtegistered, where are we gonna get me one from along with an SE 110" insert for the centre.

Hey Nige, the SERK3 cover's no problem. I have a VIN for that, remember? I imagine you'll need a USA SEFB VIN for that "blowdryer" cover. I doubt you can get a 110" insert for that since the SEFB's only came as 103's. Don said that SERK cover is pretty expensive. You can go with any HD cover or an S&S with the PP though.

And who's wimping out, where? I see you backpeddling a little about your trip here. What a better trip for your 50th then to come to NYC. You seem like a nice enough bloke! My den seconds as a guest room. One less excuse-hotels! Your move!

You show me the pic of the baby I want then don't tell me where I can get one !!   The beration had the desired effect though   So, do you not think the centre from the round FLHRSE3 American cover will fit this SE Fatboy cover ?

I like the sound of "The Den" makes me feel like a kid again. I'll run it by the powers that be and let you know the outcome.

I'm an S&S guy and always liked that classic Teardrop look! You should start a thread in the SEFB section and see if those guys can help you out with "Blowdryer" type cover. There, I just wimped out of helping you. Happy now?

Good idea Howie, I'll nip in there like a fox in a hen house and see what the SEFatboys have to say. I guess if I can get one it will fit on the Doherty Powerpacc with no probs.

It's true. I'm just an anomaly!

As long as that cover uses a standard mount HD filter, it should work with the PP. The PP uses a single, center hole to mount the cover. The filter element screws onto the backplate. The S&S cover has 3 screws securing it and the filter element just slips onto prongs on the backplate. Much simpler design.
