Same controller as the ones I put on my quad this winter.

Here's a solution. Get a new set of bars that's 1.25 in the clamp and takes the old style clamp like the pre-rushedmore bikes or a take off set off of a 15-16 SERGU. Those new clamps cover up the holes for where the wires go into the bars and it's further up the bar than mine.. The 15-16 SERGU I still has the hole under that old clamp. Here's a pic of my '15 with the MC pulled off to show the clamp area. Hard to see the wires from this angle but they're right at the end of the grip. I contacted 4 different bar manufacturers trying to find some bars that still took the old clamp and is 1.25 in the riser clamp. KST came through. I'll be installing them hopefully this weekend but that's another thread.

Not sure how hard it is.  I had my dealer install the Yaffe 14" bars and Kahuna heated grips from the CVO street glide before delivery.  They work great, love them.
Did the Kahunas feel about the same size or are the grips a bit bigger? According to H-D website, if it can bet trusted, they are .08" bigger.

I dropped the bike off at the dealer tonight. Figure I’d get it there before the snowstorms nail us Minnesotans later this week. They are going to try and install part number 56100331. https://www.harley-davidson.com/store/kahuna-heated-hand-grips-pa-09-56100331--1

The one service guy thought the grips that come on the street glide cvo might be a different part number, so we’ll see I guess. What’s the part number everyone else using (if using black kahuna)?

They may be slightly larger.  Not 100% sure as I never rode the bike with stock grips.
