will be posting dyno run sheets end of next week on the "stealth project B" - reference to a previous listed question of having to change baffles and didn;t they come with any - my seeg came complete - but I also felt like changing a few items - somethings we are just not saftisfied with being stock performing and stock appearing just to be that little different than others.
To add - this is still a great info thread going here and a vast amount of data being compiled on items we can compare "apples to apples" on

JC & I had a great trip to Freedom Cycles. We went up last night and had the bike tuned this AM. See this thread for more on our trip http://flhrsei.org/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=cvo_ride;action=display;num=1116109423

Here's the Dyno sheet.....

Ah, a dyno sheet that fits on the screen!  [smiley=beerchug.gif]  Nice numbers, dude.  Everytime I see a run on the 103s, I still think it's funny how the torque on these strokers peaks around 4,500 rpm (somewhat high for a Milwaukee v-twin).  I think this is one of the things that makes 'em so fun to ride as they don't fall on their face when you wind 'em out like an 88-inch does.

This and the other post from JC is a good report on Freedom.  While your initial numbers were quite strong, hopefully, they are taking notes as they do more tuning on this combination (such as with your bike) so that they are not leaving 3hp and 3 lb./ft. on the table with each sale.

Would you mind if I got Mark to send me a copy of your map (assuming they kept it)?
I have found a good dyno here and operator. Just would like to take advantage of Freedom's fine tuning on your bike. I just remember Mark telling me to not let anyone try to change the settings.

Not at all; In fact I'll send it to you myself. I'll pull the map out of my PCIII. If you have not done it load the software  that came with your PCIII onto a PC and play with it. Its really easy to do. Before I left I loaded and saved my old map so I could compare it to the map after the dyno run. There is a cool map compare feature in the software as well. Send me you're email address and i'll do it tomorrow.

I sent you the map, let me know if you don't get it. Are you going to put it in your PCIII yourself or have a shop do it?

To answer your question if I noticed any difference...The only change I could really tell is that before the dyno I would get an occasioal pop  when I let of the throttle between gears. I have not had it happen since. Brad told me that if you don't roll the throttle completely closed that the PC will still inject fuel and that that is the typical cause.

Loading the map is really really really terribly awfully completely dead bang simple.  If you've got a PC that can be reached to the bike via USB cable there's not  a good reason to pay anyone to just load a map.  Take a look at the software.  If it's not immediately apparent give me a call and I'll walk you through it sometime.

I noticed That the dyno sheet from Freedom Cycle in message #288 was printed in standard setting instead of SAE. That would lower the amount of the run about 2 HP/TQ. I think as we are evaluating the results we need to keep it apples to apples. Can we get a dyno sheet converted to SAE? My final summary of the Freedom Cycle experience is coming soon (with dyno sheet)

Everyone,

Spoke with Brad and Mark and just ordered a set of Freedom Pipes and a Shorty Antennae.

Have Rinehart True Duals now, however due to laying bike down in Oregon, Insurance Company gave the go ahead to replace. I figure for the same price, why not get a better performing pipe, spoke with Mark & Brad and the Freedom Pipes are on the way.

They will be mounted on an 03 Road Glide c/w with an 04 CVO 103" Engine, 103 Stock SE heads reworked by SBC, c/w S&S 585 Cams, rest of engine stock, compression 10:1, HD Six Speed. Bike Dyno at 106 HP and TQ of 117 ft. lbs with the Rineharts, not sure what baffle.

103 Helped me post the old dyno results, guess they got lost in this weekends hassle. Will try and repost in Dyno Section.

After reassemble of bike and installation of the Freedom Pipes will Dyno again and post results. Also in Aug. on the way to Sturgis going to visit Doug Lofgren and install the 57MM Wild Thind Throttle Body.

Got my Freedom Pipes two weekends ago and have now had a chance to run them in a variety of rides. WOW  [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] best bang for the buck. They are the best. Great sound, great fit, great looks. The customer service at their shop is second to none. Got to watch Brad do my dyno runs. He explained everything and ran me through the process. Glad I'm lucky to live close enough that I can ride up and back to Reno in one day and still have four hours to "shop" in town. Thanks Freedom Cycle  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] both the pipes and shorty antenna work great !!  [smiley=1syellow1.gif]
