I'm surprised that I didn't get my chops busted earlier on this one.  I went back and modified to "SERK", but if there is a luggage rack for the SERT, it would give me a place to mount that disk (my tech guy said that I needed to travel with it in case of an out of town problem).
In addition to carrying the interface I have pictured above you may want to carry a disk/memory stick with your current map on it. This could save you time and money just in case for some reason your ECM dumped/messed up the map, or the ECM just dies.

Yes, I have the leather tour-pak, and some of the other guys here have added it as well.

Go to this thread for pictures of mine.

What's the downside of the tour pack?

1) size is limited

2) it's 1 of 4 components you need to make it work.  You'll also need: docking hardware, two-up rack, and lock set

With that said, I still think I want one  :'(

Ghost Rider, it looks great!  I won't be surprised if they offer it as standard on the '08 bikes.

Phase, another alternative to the TP is the 2-up deatachable luggage rack. I personally don't like the TP. I use this rack on trips and mount the largest HD SAC T-Bag on the rack and passenger backrest. Here's a pic of it. http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=10447.msg164536#msg164536  I've been doing it this way for 12 years on RK's and it works out great. It holds a lot more than that leather TP! Everyone likes different chit! Hoist! 8)

I'm planning on hanging on to my CUSE.  I'll probably use it for long, two up riding.  I think the luggage rack will be the best alternative for me on the SERK.  I've already got a T-Bag and a Willie & Max bag that should fit great on the rack.  I am a little concerned about the raised rail on your rack, but it may not be a problem.  It looks great!

I've never found the raised rail to be a problem. It great for locking things in within the rack. Things don't slide around that way. The big T-Bag fits inside it. I have it strictly for functionality, not looks. Hoist! 8)

I agree with the function thing, but if you're gonna use one, it might as well look good and that one does.
