I sure like the switchblades with the heel rest.  If you don't want the heel you leave it folded but it is really nice on long ride to have the heel rest.

Seems you have no idea the effort to keep your foot out there without it.  I haven't come up with the best all around extension yet, but I am getting lots of great input from this thread.  Bottom line I wouldn't be without my heel rest though.

Stopped at dealer today. They had the short adjustables in stock. HD is out. Next Mfr! The mounts can not be installed and have the pegs within the engine guards when folded up. This is extremely important for lane splitting, you understand. I guess I'll check the Kury stuff next and keep looking 'til I find something! Keep any other suggestions coming! ;) Hoist! 8)

On my '05 Heritage I installed the HD crash bar and Peg mounts that are stock on the FLHTCU. Mounted them (stock peg mounts) flat side forward as on the stock FLHTCU but could'nt reach them (33" inseam). Just reversed them so the flat side faced back and it gave me that extra 1 1/2" back that I needed. Don't need to on the Ultra though as the seat is so far forward. I am sure you all have thought of this, just thought I would mention it for those looking for a cheap alternative.

Thanks TD. I've always done the same (31"-32" inseam) but it's still too far away on this new SERK. So, the search continues! ;) Hoist! 8)
