And I seriously doubt that a red one is faster than a black one! Travis, I'll be seeing you at the track in HS so you can show me that the red ones are fastest! How'd the bike do on the trip? Hope you had a blast!

You don't even have to ask, we were at Sturgis...enough said.  The bike overall ran great, I was getting a little engine noise but I blamed that on altitude and bad gas.  It cleared up after a fresh tank.  The progressive shocks and Touring XR made a world of difference, riding 2 up the bike just flowed through every curve.  I can't even imagine how better it will feel when I get the Traxxion cartridges.

He is a pic of Raquel taken not far from where SD took his picture.  Thats the boss with her back to you.  I'll post some more later.

She wondered why I never suggested it before. As I don't care for them myself, the thought never crossed my mind. She wears it every time we ride now. It'll be nice to see you again in HS!

He was supposed to finish them early last week, but the lid spoilers never showed up. They're there now. But he left for Sturgis last Thurs. I imagine he'll be back by Mon. He should finish them by the end of next week, or thereabouts. I expect to receive them by 8/25. With my engine project going on, I haven't needed them anyway. My next substantial trip is to Hot Springs in Sept. So everything should be together well before then. That's all I need out of the deal right now! Full report to follow!

He's done the Red already, so that should be no problem. Neither should the graphics. He's doing some ghost graphics for me too. I haven't been pushing him at all. He did say about 6 weeks. There's another week shipping each way. So 8 weeks total. Aug 11 will be 2 months, so 2.5 months isn't too bad I guess. No problem for a winter project. Plus, we have other bags to use anyway.

Hey SOKOOL, not my winter project. I always have at least one bike that stays up, all year round. I ride in the winter here. Not much in Jan and Feb. And no snow or ice of course. But this year's winter project is my '85 FXWG. She's getting a new lease on life! S&S 113" Evo. Should make my WG sing real nice!

My Evo is a basically stock '85 FXWG. It's in a 4 speed frame, with an 80", 75 HP motor. It was basically a one year only bike, that had 2 model years, '85 and '86. They went to all 5-sppeds in '86. When they ran out of 4-speed frames, that was it for the 4-speed! I love that bike too! One of the best bikes HD ever made. Of course I'm looking for a little more HP, but don't want to overpower it too much. This 113 should be about 100-110 HP, That's plenty for that 575 lb. bike. RB does some great stuff! If an outfit is into racing, I pay attention to their products. Most of the better products and components out there today are built by racing, or racing inspired companies. They're always the first places I look when I need to replace/modify something on my bikes!
