I put a set of Progressive 944's on my '09 SERG and thought they were great. Sold them to a buddy when I bought the '15 and he had been using them up until last fall when he convinced himself he needed the Ohlins. I rode it before and after, see no difference myself. He has since told me he feels it was a major mistake he will never make again and is trying to sell them to a guy he works with.
I know most on here think Ohlins are the berries, to me cost exceeds value and then there is the rebuild costs. Just not for me. Replace the Progressives every 40K for about same money as, what I have been told would be the two necessary rebuilds at 20K and then again at 40K on the Ohlins. TO each his own.
