Just spoke with him again.  He's managed a temporary fix that got him on the move again.  Sounded like it would hold up ok for the remainder of the trip in.  If so he'll probably make it in around dusk.  Keep your respective fingers crossed and hope for a tail wind.

Unfortunately at the rate Howie's is going he could pull the legs, get them bike, still not have the SERK anywhere near ready and then suffer a grevious personal injury because he broke his ass after riding with a unicycle wheel mounted between the new forks because he just couldn't bear not getting to try them out somehow.

I didn't get to ride this weekend but what I have noticed most on my bike is that I now have a front suspension that is probably better than my 440's.  Before it was the other way around.  Bumps that I steered out of the way on frequently traveled roads are now run over and the front end absorbs the bumps.  Going in and out of drives over the curb cutouts causes no bottom out clunks as before.  I can only imagine the improvements you fellows with the SEUltras and the 1" more travel is experiencing.  Don and I already started out with 1" less travel and this is a nice upgrade for me.  The other nice thing is even though it rides better, you are not isolated from the road.   Thanks Don and Terry for being the quinea pigs on this one.

Glad you're feeling it as a positive also Bob.  Really can't imagine anyone not.  But it's heartening to see others see the same benefits.  You'll experience more you like as you get the chance to ride it more as well.  Congrats on beating it apart and sanding it back together.  Your bike loves you man  !

I can imagine what you are going thru.  Mine had problems "to" Traxxion but still showed up there the same day.  Hopefully it will happen on your return also (still show up today).  The wait is almost over and will be worth it.  I think the shipping Gods are trying us.

Gods or demons not ure which, but I do know they will get here when they get here.  I think the other stuff is ready to go so hopefully when the UPS truck gets here so will the forks.
