Yea, the legs they have are not something I'm interested in...would be nice for someone with the stock legs, like Jorge.  The suspension is a different matter though...road trip on the Vrod?

Seriously, I wonder the traxxion would feel on that bike with 34 degrees of rake?  Got to have a bit more "sticktion", just from the rake, but would probably be as dramatic a change as we've felt with the big bikes.  I can scrape the pegs on the V pretty easily...you'd be surprised how well it countersteers, even with that fat tire on back.

I was actually quite surprised at how well it wandered through that school parking lot I went through right after it ran up to &%^) miles per hour on that little run.  Low speed handling was better than I expected it to be.  I'd never purposefully ridden a V-Rod before anywhere but on the street or highway.  So screwing with it in that parking lot was interesting.

Man what a DW, anyway it's going to be 71 here Friday.  Always have the DWG3 for those warm days.  It's good to have backup.

Well, it's going to be in the 30's for a high in Virginia Friday/Sat, so you got him back.  It's even going to be only in the high 50's here this weekend, near freezing at night, but some wind, so the frost won't bite all the flowers, I hope.

Oh...I sold the Ducati!!!!!  Hate to see her go...

So true, but the memories of riding today in a short sleeve shirt. Going thru two major university campus' (U. of Va. and James Madison University) seeing all the young cute coeds is enough to get me thru this.

UPS just left and they have the forks on the way to Traxxion.

I sent Mike the sales mgr. there the tracking number and ETA for Thursday by email about 20 minutes ago.  Just got his reply that they'll get them taken care of.

Oh boy, now the waiting............I hate this part even if I'm helping d00d hijack a thread.

d00d's pretty slick...got that daughter in college nearby, but far enough away, so he can always tell the wifey "Baby, I'm just going to run down on the scoot to visit our baby girl", when at least part of the motivation is to view the young ladies strolling the campus in their new spring attire, or better yet, laying out next to the dorms getting sun.  You don't ever hear about him running down there in the cage when it's cold and rainy...

Like the mgr. at the HD Shop said, anything would be an improvement.  I'm sure that what you and Don experienced will be what I do as well.  Now I just have to get the Progressives handled.  Would be nice if Traxx could do a good price on them, but I imagine I can get a break on them somewhere as Don stated earlier.

No nuking necessary I'm sure.
