Tour Pak Electronic Lock - Add to a Street Glide
« on: August 15, 2020, 08:58:02 PM »

I just got a 2018 Street Glide CVO. It has the locking saddlbag and fork locks. The previous owner added a chopped Tour Pak. It has a manual lock. I see the Ultra Limited has an electronic locking Tour Pak. I would like to add this to my bike. I think I will need:

69200434 Wiring Harness (Tour Pak)
91800039 Actuator Assembly
10200064 Screw (x4)

I think the actuator bolts to the back of the mechanical lock, the harness will connect to the actuator and then the bike? Has anyone done this? Any advice or comments?

I have done it on my road glide with a king tour pack so I don't know if there is ant issues with the chopped version.
Also, I don't know about the wiring harness as I made my own up using the OEM style connectors. My wiring harness can be unplugged under the seat to remove the tour pack. I used posilock connectors to splice into the lock wires at the large connector under the seat
You will need the following parts as well.

P/N 90300081 - Tour-pak cam lock (requires key code)
P/N 53000312 - Latch lock cover
P/N 10200225 - Lock cover screw

The standard keyed lock won't work with the actuator.
The cover goes underneath the handle and prevents access to the locking cam which could be manually moved to the unlocked position by back driving the actuator.
There are threads with pictures on this subject on the HD forums website.

I have a chopped pack and added the power lock to it.   You need to trim the bottom of the lock actuator to fit.    I used a miter/chop saw to trim the bottom of mine neatly.

All the info you need can be found here:
