Well the stealership hasn't finished the build yet.  It's their first and they're just installing it on a show room SG. The tech got put on dyno this morning and had been with that all day.

However, they did get the bike apart, removed the old audio and have installed the amp. The amp is installed in the saddlebag on the left for one, both for two. I told them to give me a shout when they got it done as I think others, including the parts manager want to know what it sounds like. I can foresee this taking 5-10 hrs for HD to get the system installed and take your hard earned cash.

IMO, unless it sounds way awesome, it'll be a hard pass for me.  The amps in the saddlebags are just attached via 3 strips of 3M double sided tape. I am not sure how that will hold long term with the heat from the amp and for those of us in hotter climates during the summer.  They do have to drill two holes in the saddlebags to make the connections and make it water tight. The wire harness is attached via molex connectors to the saddlebag connections and then run up the bike to the battery and the fairing to the front speakers. I forgot to get a picture of that when we pulled the saddlebag off, but here are two angles/views of the amp in the saddlebag. It looks like only about 14.5" of clearance to fit stuff in straight up and down, i.e. laptop. I don't want to give up the saddlebag space. By the way the parts manager was talking, it's "supposed" to sound awesome at highway speeds and not dumbed down with the separate bin file like the Boom! audio stuff was. We'll see.

Not much different from the existing setup with amps in the bags. I don't have any experience with it personally so hopefully someone with a '12+ will chime in on the longevity of the amp staying put.

Some time last summer that amp in my left rear bag came loose on the King.  Its on of my winter projects to get it back in place.

not a 12, but a 13.  though the amp mounts the same.  I can tell you that the tape will not hold very long.  but, where the amp is placed, it isn't like it was bouncing all over the saddlebag.  it only has a couple inches of play to allow movement.  I never messed with it as it didn't rattle.
