Finally got pix of the new chrome inner primary, starter, and brake calipers. Also someone asked about a license plate holder for an 05.

RR Awesume looking ride.  For what it's worth I removed all of the stock reflector also from my scoot for a cleaner look imho.  Can be done rather easily with hair dryer and Goo-Gone.

Love the looks of the inner!

Well 2Lane.....you really got me feeling guilty about my taunting you with the weather and the warm Gulf breezes.  As a result of your generosity in researching the starter chrome and saving me hundreds of dollars I'm not going to tell you that I'm taking a ride this afternoon and will probably have to put on a long sleeve T-shirt due to the cold front.

Thanks again..... [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

It's a Pit Bull jack, air over hydraulic. I have tried several jacks, and was disappointed in the stability and/or quality. I saw this one in use at a rally and was really impressed with it. I bought the one that they advertise for the Dyna twin cam because it has a wider foot print. It fits the SEEG perfectly and is a one person operation.  It is really stable and very easy to use and move around.  They have a great demo video on their site using the Electra Glide. Check it out.

For what it's worth Kuryakyn has a piece that covers the end of both the starter and solenoid.

JR, I've got to say immediately that in this case I'm only passing on information that's been given to me by others.  I haven't seen the standard and the high torque starters side-by-side for an eyeball comparison.  But a dealership's service manager answering the same question when I asked him told me that the exterior dimensions of the two starters were the same.  So the various accessories to bolt on their respective ends would be interchangeable.

I have to agree the 31795-04 chrome starter cover that harley sells doesn't seem to fit the high performance starters that these cvo bikes have. I have tried to install the kit I just refered to on my flstfse and the 31795-04 cover has one bolt in the center and my starter has two bolts on the end cap so I see no way to use this cover. I also have to point out that on the packaging it says the cover is not compatible with the high performance starter.

I wonder if someone knows whether or not the Kuryakyn cover mentioned by twolanerider also has this problem of not working on the high performance starter??

2lane, what price did you get on the V&H duals?  Any mufflers that bolt up to the stock pipes will fit these?  Also, any comments regarding quality, durability (discoloring), or fitment issues?

Thanks!
