Should have some pix soon of the new chrome starter and chrome front brake calipers installed. Just waiting for the ups to show up at the door with them.

I used Kuryakyn replacement type, not the Panacea system. For the whole works including front turns, rear turns, deluxe tail/brake light, and the run, turn, brake module with Harley security system friendly equalizer was about $500. There have been reports of others having various problems with the Kuryakyn but mine works great and looks good with none of the problems that have been mentioned in other post.

Yeah, you are right. I was already thinking about the inner but it had not occured to me that I should do it while the starter was off. Thanks

 ...Harley security system friendly equalizer...

Steve,

Did you plug the replacement equalizer into the module and did you need to add another one for the front lights?

You only need one equalizer and yes it plugs right into the module. You just unplug the lighting harness under the seat and the module and equalizer daisy chain between the male and female plugs. I was suprised at how small they were, especially since r/t/b module included the feature that flashes the brake lights a couple of times before they go on solid.
