Libation o thirty is well and truly here. I unanimously decided that I should reward the local Offie with my presence and flex my Amex card in their pretty little beer selling schmoozers.
I have procured, for my evening's delectation and delight a selection of six of the finest British Real Ales and I am now wandering my way happily through their liquisational flavours. I have now drunk a Spitfire (very good - a long standing favourite of mine) an Allendale Wolf (first timer - excellent hoppy flavour with a slight chocolate aftertaste, bitter finish with lots of flavour. I'll be having that again) and a Wylam Bohemia ( Pilsener style Beer - nice clean taste, but slightly lacking overall in the finish).
I'll let you know how I get on with the others later.
Here's the selection.
