2016 cvo roadglide ultra winter upgrade help
« on: November 09, 2024, 09:35:14 PM »

Hi everyone been awhile. So I have a 2016 cvo roadglide ultra with 14 k on it and decided to keep it over trading in. I have the upgraded water pump done under warranty. Warranty will expire and instead of purchasing another I decided to take the money and do some upgrades. I need some suggestions and options. So I have a V&H 2n1 propipe,PV that waiting to install I want to change the lifters and maybe cams. I’m not chasing Dyno numbers but looking for something that has low torque as I do a lot of backroads riding someone suggested tts-100. So what would everyone recommend I do to have this bike last me another 3-5yrs but be as much fun it has been but just have alittle more fun when I roll the throttle.

Sounds like you have an idea what would fit how and where you ride. That would help you decide what combo to go for!
If you plan to keep your PV and exhaust check with some of the vendors and even SE upgrades available.

Do you plan on doing the upgrades yourself? Or, have a shop do them for you?
Also, depending on your budget you may want to consider mild upgrades rather than chasing dyno numbers.
Remember. HP costs $$$$,
Good luck in your search.

Definitely not looking for HP or don’t care Dyno numbers but want something that has alittle better get up and go and definitely will have a shop do the work. The bike is fine just I know of the lifter stories I figured if I’m changing those well what’s a few more bucks.

Get a good cam, lifters, exhaust, tune preferably from the same shop with a good track record of similar builds and you’ll be good to go!
