What CVO feature could you not live without?
« on: January 29, 2025, 07:05:29 AM »

If you were to purchase a non-CVO today what one  CVO like change would you have make?

For me it's easy and probably different than most. I absolutely love the power locks on 2015 CVO Limited's saddlebags, tour pac and steering. I hate fumbling for keys and having to insert it in 3 or 4 different locks. For me this is a must have feature on any future bagger.

Power locks, Garage Door opener now.  Pre 2023 it would have been the wireless headset connection to bike for voice commands, phone calls and texts but you can do that on the regular 2024 touring bikes

Power locks all day every day. If we were looking at something we could do without on the CVOs I’d like to do without the price tag!

Power Locks !!!! You can't get them from Harley for any other bike only CVO'S. I tried back in 2019 and was told can not do it on my Ultra Limited. I heard there was aftermarket out there but I never looked in to it.

I believe you can put on moco power locks. I looked into it about 5 years ago and had part numbers but my dad didn't want to spend the money.

Jumped to a standard bike last year. Yup, power locks are what I miss the most. Saved roughly 20k though so I can deal with the key thing. LOL

Power locks, ignition knob not needed, heated seat.

The power locks are really convenient, would be more-so if my 2023.5 CVO RG had a trunk and they offered a power lock for the add-on trunk (the6 don’t, yet).

I probably get more use, though, from the garage door opener feature.

Power locks for me and the Mrs would miss the heated seat.

I’ve still got the garage door opener’s that came with the last few CVO’s I’ve owned but just zip tied my little remote to my handle bars on all my bikes to open the gate to my property. Much easier for me, at least.

I'm guessing most people don't want to zip tie remote to handle bar of their $50,000 bike. But to each their own

Probably not, but, I DID hit it with some gloss black paint and black zip ties to match the bars!  :2vrolijk_21: 8)

The 23.5 and newer CVO have homelink.  You can open 3 things.  First is easy quick flash of headlight like before.  Other two you have to go into the touch screen

It's not CVO specific, but I like having cruise control and a center stand.
