Are TTS Stage two base maps any good? Today we found out with our 117 inch Low budget Stage II Ripper!

TTS recently released their Base calibrations for the 2024 117 Center Cooled bikes. (CVO 121 coming soon!) There are a variety of fuel map combinations all with our Fullsac MX Headpipe. Many with TTS cam choices too. We decided to try the TTS 185 cam and matching base map.

The bike:
2024 117 Center Cooled Road Glide. Pearl white.

Parts installed:
Fullsac MX headpipe, 2.25 Fullsac Spiral louvered Baffles. SE forward facing air cleaner. TTS 185 cam, GM Performance lifters, TTS Tuner.

The TTS 185 cam was installed with GM Performance "Caddy race lifters". Nothing butchered! Stock pushrods, stock oil pump, stock cam plate all reused. Only the rocker covers and cam cover were removed. Stock pushrods come out the top. New lifters go in through the cam chest. No need to remove the pushrod tubes or lifter covers. Stock cam bearing is now full roller. With only 1000 miles it stayed in place too. I see so many spending Hundreds on unneeded parts. Don't drink the kool aid Kids!

Full dyno session with all installed parts netted a 40 HP gain from stock! 130 HP / 138 TQ. Huge low end with one FT pound per cube at only 1800 RPM. 135 FT pounds at 3000 RPM! I fully expected the stock clutch slip as I was seeing TQ numbers touching 140 FT pounds. Never happened! After the last pull I flashed the TTS base map back into the bike. 130 HP and 138 TQ again with the untouched base calibration! But with a much leaner AFR? Why was there no loss in power in the lean area? Apparently the new motor doesn't care? Very surprising.

Riding impression over a 150 mile loop.
Roll on power was very impressive! Effortless passing. Bike pulled very hard to 115 mph. Seen over 120 mph on a longer pass. Fuel millage 46 MPG average! Didn't see that coming. All three ride modes still work in the normal manor. I went minus 1 on the throttle response. Sport mode on everything else. All of the ride modes can be custom tuned with the TTS tuner as well. Lots of options.

Bottom line.
Harley's new Centered Cooled platform is a sleeping giant. This is big power on the cheap! Intake, exhaust, bolt in cam, TTS Tuner, and you have a 130 HP Bagger. All with no clutch upgrade or dyno tuning? Wow! Never thought I would see the day. Good Job on the fuel map Steve Cole!

The red line is the untouched TTS base map. The rev limiter was set to 6500 RPM. I didn't care for that as power was peaking before 6K and I set mine to 6200.

Great work. I have a few sets of those heads coming my way and am excited to start my CNC program on those. Also am enthused that they will retrofit to the older bikes rather easily and they run much cooler even with oil cooling.

That is pretty impressive for pretty much just a cam, exhaust and tune.  The new heads seem to flow very well.

A 130" piston kit and the right cam, I'm sure we will see 160 HP with stock heads and TB.
