Longlast,
 There is a lower cost option that i use on my 2000 fltrsei and my 2003 flhtcui. Its just a simple plug in to to 1/8" phono plug on the face of the unit. Self powered....rechargeable..bluetooth reciever. Conects to your phone like any other bluetooth device.  Cost around 25$ US. Sorry i dont have a brand name but look it up on Amazon.
