Clutch Cable Issues 2021 Street Glide
« on: April 30, 2025, 11:26:06 AM »

I'm on my third clutch cable; my bike has 36,500 miles.
I keep my clutch adjustments and cable lubing as timely and as precise as I am able, according to the HD manual. I am using OEM clutch cables.
Has anyone else had any issues with 2021 HD CVO clutch cables breaking right at the lever?
I've never had clutch cable issues like this on any motorcycle I've owned, not even on the 2 stroke dirt bikes I rode as a kid.
These Street Glide clutch cables are not that much fun to replace.
Thanks for any advice or suggestions,
Mike

This might solve your problem - upper clutch cable from Fat Baggers . . . and it's adjustable up near the clutch lever . . . plus it eliminates the plastic parts where the upper and lower cables meet.  Just put this on my 2024.
