Barnett Scorpion Clutch Pressure Plate
« on: May 16, 2025, 10:18:51 PM »

I have a 2000 FXR4 with a Scorpion Clutch hub.
Too get more pressure on the plates, the Variable Pressure Plate seems the way to go with the spinning weights increase the pressure as RPM rises. Are they reliable? Will the weights spin off like a bullet? Has anyone had a problem with it after many miles? I was gonna get a Evolution Industries Clutch Basket too. Thanks

Been using one for about 4 years now, no problems, never heard of the weights comming off, Have heard of a couple of people with clearence problems with the clutch cover, but they were not standard Harley covers.

I use a Barnett Scorpion Clutch assy., when ever I need to replace, or update a clutch assy. Never a problem, and a fair price.
