« on: July 20, 2025, 12:33:49 PM »

Ive owned a few different bikes now, but looking at a 2009 CVO Electra glide with 14000 miles
Was this year of bike prone to anything to be on the lookout for?
Thx in advance

Three things I can think of:

First year of cat in headpipe.  Most people removed it or put on an aftermarket head pipe.

If compensator hasn’t been changed that year was prone to needing the upgraded compensator with oiler channel on outer primary cover.

At some point you will have to replace lifters.  Anywhere from 15-55,000 miles.  You never no when they will fail but they all do at some point on a 110.

Other than that they were great bikes.
