Hello fellow Fxr cvo riders...got friend looking for fxr 2 3 or 4 at decent price and those i found have been very high!! Anyone know of one of these are reasonable price..like under 10k?? I knew they'd been appreciating but $17k is considerably more than I'd expected or would have thought the market to be.  I bought my FXR2 about 8 1/2 years ago needing just a little work.  Nothing cosmetic (fortunately), just some basic maintenance that would be expected for a bike that had sat for a few years.  Pretty sure I paid $4000 for it then.  Having a flat front tire, rusted front wheel, and needing an ignition kit helped the price negotiation though.  Now it's my favorite regular "just go play" bike.  Not taking it cross country.  But my knees and back like hauling it around better than the Road Glide or Road King.
