Here’s the deal.
I had a wobble at about 100-110 mph, I’m going on a 10,000 mile trip in mid June.
So I decided to go through the bike and do a bunch of stuff.
New tires ( the front was cupped) new swingarm bushings, shaft and rubber mounts ( swingarm had play)
New steering head bearings and races ( they were dry as a popcorn fart and gritty).
New to me clutch master cylinder ( the old one had a slight leak at the top gasket )
Then I discovered that the pressure relief in the front brake master cylinder was not “ spurting “ when I actuated the lever, and as a consequence the front brakes are dragging ( no telling how long they have been doing that without me noticing)
I had a new master cylinder on the way, just try to cover all my bases.
The bike has never passed the “swing test” perfectly, it has always been slightly tight but rode fine.
Still slightly tight but I have taller bars.
Any suggestions or input?
