Pete,
Sign me up.  I'll take Candy and Red's word for your work.  How about some pictures of the prototypes on your  :cherry:?  Good luck - we're all wishing you the best in this endeavor.
Anxiously (and patiently) waiting,
Tony

Me too...am sick of the flaps, and now one of mine doesn't snap well at all, so flops around when traveling down the road.  Let us know how much, and post a couple of pics too!!

Thanks!!

One of my snaps has started performing poorly too.  I love the pouches on top.  But with them adding outboard ballast to the weak snap it's even worse.  So I'm at least considering.  Definitely want to see what they're going to be.  Even have a couple sets of keyed locks already here.

I hope PJ is able to supply the board members with his doors.  Mark (MyCvo) was going to make some for himself and then got ill and another member from Canada business flooded.  This has all been in the last 2 years.  Got impatient and ordered the doors from Eglidegoodies and they are a quality set of doors and the opening towards the tank is a non issue (at least for me).  I would rather, like others on this site, buy from a fellow member if I could.  Even though I have doors, I am anxious to see what PJ has come up with.

Here we buy 30K plus bikes and then put another 15plus in them to make them what they should have been from the MOCO..  (Don has another 30K in his)..  And I told my wife by buying a CVO Harley, I wouldn't need anything else for it.   ::)    Rant over.

Bob, we're all lucky.  What about poor Isellbulls.  He's got two of them and bandanagirl has a discerning eye for her OCD.

Mine's on the bottom left on the left lower, so you know what it does...pisses me off.  You'd think they could at least put a metal male snap on the lower, but I guess I expect too much on a 35K bike.  35K...that's a joke...I don't even know how much I have in the bike now...I'm scared to add all the latest stuff to the spreadsheet. :nervous: :vrolijk27:

Bet you could figure out a way to easily use the pouches on the doors though.

When I added up the stuff on the RK Classic, I decided not to trade it.  First house did not cost that much.....

Damn near useless snaps/flaps on the lowers were one of the weirder things on this bike.  Compartment maybe big enough for 6 donuts with a flap that won't always stay snapped.  If the Moco had charged us 35k & 3 bucks, they coulda put decent doors there, maybe.  :nixweiss:

I am interested in replacing them as well.

Seriously, sounds like Pete is just trying to make sure everything is legal and he gets patent and stuff.  It will be worth the wait.  Thinking about Don's pouches though, I guess you'd have to have the lock on the inside of pouches, then pull out whatever you have in that pouch to get to the lock...........mmmmmmm sounds a little like a PIA, but that Don is a good finagler, if it can be done, or should be done, I am sure he can figure out the plan.

Yea, and the friggin' donuts will get wet to top it off.  They must have used an Auburn Engineer to design those things

That remark alone is worth triple secret probation.   :2vrolijk_21:

I saw a mixed marriage license plate the other day - U of A/Auburn.

Myself, I figured it was a lost Texas Aggie somewhere in Wisconsin who engineered those wonderments of the lowers (wotl).  Since they do leak and all.

Hey Mrs. We! - just read your post and wanted you to know that in fact I have already made several sets of the glove box covers for family and friends.  Ever since I prototyped the original set two years ago, I've been working on doing a production run of multiple units. So...I'm finally at the stage of actually manufacturing the glove box covers.  All of this involves attorneys, intellectual property (patents), product liability assesment/insurance, suppliers, manufacturers and business plans so bear with me as I venture into small business.  You guys should see what I believe to be a vast improvement over other products that are currently out there at a much cheaper price.  If everything goes right, I'll be test marketing the glove box covers here on cvo.com first in a few months. After all, I know you guys will give me the best input on the product. Tell me how to make it better or honestly if the product sucks!  Thanks in advance for everyone's patience and support - PJ

Any closer to being able to sell these, PJ?
