"no-vice" ??
H*ll, I have a whole bunch of Vice!
Single Malt Scotch, Cohiba Cigars, obviously a lot of beer, cheap greasy food, I swear too much, flirt with young girls, ignore speed limits........the list is endless.
Guessing I've riden about 150,000 over a 30 year span, on about 20 different street bikes.
I do know of a guy nearby that has about 4 Harleys of which 2 are CVO and he IS a novice/midlife/rich guy that you hear about.

To answer the question posed by the title of this thread  YES   see my post on " 110 Engine Issues "

And it couldn't have happened to a lesser deserving person.

I received a letter from HD notifying me of a free "upgrade" to the EFI system.  The engine went from 33 to 40 mpg after the "upgrade".  I have logged almost 3,200 on my SEUC2 Smurf with no problems and love the way the engine sounds.  The ride is comfortable and the heated seats and grips are appreciated every time they are needed.

I got my Ultra Screaming Eagle on Feb. 3rd.  At 1000 miles installed Sert, Rinehart true duels and stage one air.   Almost 3000 miles now and it runs great....not one problem.

The letter said nothing, but the dealership would only say that the upgrade would make the fuel injection perform "better" and would not admit that anything was wrong with it as it was.  Since I couldn't make it 150 miles before the adjustment without refueling, I'd say the EFI was set incorrectly at the factory.  The letter did say the enhancement was for all 07 SEs and 07 touring bikes.

I had the mystery re-flash performed too, last year, no explanation as I think the stealers were left in the dark too....It still ran crappy in my little mind so I dumped the slip-ons and installed a sert and rh 2-1 & dynoed...Happy now, except for the seat as I am gravitationally challenged, I need a corbin.

There is a torque smoothing flash for '07's made until Nov/Dec '06. That's probably the flash you're referring to. Besides the Rear Cyl Cutout Overheating Flash, the Tq smoothing flash isthe only other flash to date, as far as I know. Hoist! 8)

I have a 07 SEUC. I bought it last July. It has almost 5,000 miles on it. I can honestly say I've had zero engine problems. I have installed AC, TMAT, and V&H duals. I'd buy it again.

Hey Mike, I'm dropping them off this week. What is your painter doing to match the paint/leafing/marble? Did he find the factory stuff or is he recreating it? I'd really like to match the paint scheme, but my painter didn't think it would match properly without using the original HD materials made  for this bike. I'd love to know what your guy is doing. Thanks. Hoist! 8)
