Fantastic touches Brian! LD is really what the SERG should be looking like, maybe in 2008? Looking forward to seeing it in person!  :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21:

....... There are a few more things on the wish list. PM 6 piston chrome brakes, a hydraulic clutch, chrome inner primary and finally, the wheels. I have a really cool idea for those that Big Daddy and Twolane are in on. Not sure when that might happen, but some time down the road......

.....
You sure those two are the only ones in on it?? ;) ;D

B B...sorry I missed this thread due to being absorbed in my own little project, but man this whole thing you've done with the bike is sweet!!  Somehow the bike really fits your personality and you've done things to it that further reflect who you are.  Great job and hope to see it in person again in the near future.

Great looking job!!!

Terry,
Thanks for the compliment - - - I think. Are you saying I am a fire breathing Dragon ?  Maybe I have Dragon breath from beer and Maker's Mark  LOL  Are you going to Nelson ?  I really haven't paid attention to who's going.

It was meant purely as a compliment.  The RG's seem to fit big guys better because they appear to be stretched out a bit more from seat to bars, so it seems a natural fit for you.  With what you've done on the Mirage Orange paint, you've got an awesome looking bike.  The story behind the name of your bike is a good one too...it just all fits together nicely.  I would never say you have an "edge" to you, B B   ;D ;)

Unfortunateley, I'm not going to be able to make Nelson...as much as I'd love to go, it's just not possible for me to get enough time off work to do the whole thing justice.  It's 2600 miles from my house, so that's 4 days of fairly hard riding, then I'd want at least 7 days out there.  I've been to the Canadian Rockies twice, and it is the most spectacular scenery I've ever seen, bar none.  When I come West, I want 3 weeks, maybe 4, so I can do it up right.

You should join us in September at Hot Springs...that'd be a cake walk compared to you coming all the way to MV last year   :2vrolijk_21:

I'd considered that heavily, and tried to figure a way to squeeze it in, but being gone for an entire week + in July is not really an option for me at work.  It's one of my most critical times to be here... :(

TC   Lots of places I'd like to go and things to do this year, but there is a bunch of work to be done in the back yard here and my folks need my help at their summer place on Sebago Lake in Maine. Nelson will have to be it for me this year. Hope to see you and everyone else whom I met at Maggie Valley that isn't attending Nelson next year somewhere.

Hopefully, the 1st week of October. Wife wants to go to the Fryeburg Fair if we can arrange it. Usually rains most of September and then you get Indian summer that 1st week of October. Used to be my favorite time of year in Maine. I should be able to get in a bunch of good days to do some work on the place on the lake. Couple friends have offered up a bike to ride since I'll be flying in and out for this trip. Next year though I'm gonna ride from Dago to Laconia and back again. I want to redo the ride that ended in the crash outside Toronto on 05.

I'll look forward to it Neal   Maybe you can attend the fair with us. They have an all day lumberjack competition the first day of the fair the call Woodsman's Days. It's pretty cool

B B....I'm sure you've considered this, but have you looked at any of the wheels that have a sort of Medieval look to them....would fit with the whole Dragon thing.... :nixweiss:
