Well I don't feel left out now. After reading your post Flying Ace, I went out and checked... Uh-oh...

I was going to Cox' anyway so I saked the service manager ( Chris, great guy!) and he said the gasket had to be changed.

Mileage 9850.

I'm in the process of doing my 10k maint.  My scoot hasn't used a drop of oil yet but I grabbed my flashlight and I'll be damned, my rear jug is leaking just like yours is....

I guess I'm going to take it down to the dealer to have them replace it.   

Do they replace both rear and front gaskets or just the rear?

Man, am I dreading this as I have a pot full of upgrades on my bike and I have an extended warranty.

Hope it doen't turn out to be 2Lane's  "Practical & Immediate Special Services Youbetcha Warranty" (PISSY Warranty)

I'll post when I get back from the dealer 2marrow....

To top off this wonderful day, while coming back from the dealership on I77, my prescription glasses flew out of my breast pocket so I am sitting here with my sunglasses on. I guess I'm off to the Dr. in the morning. At least I can still ride!

Lasik doesn't help seeing the gauges.....  I have panoptix regular vision with bifocals (I had Lasik and now see 20/15).... it's hell getting old!
