When the races ended on Saturday, the Memphis group gathered in the parking lot in front of the museum.

We had tickets for Sunday at Barber, but we all decided that it would be nice to get home by late afternoon.  After leaving 29 Dreams we headed out for the Memphis area.  We made a lunch/snack stop along the way at Sonic in Iuka, MS.

At least JR looks good when he's smiling.  Here are Gary and JR again and Tim has pulled up on his Deuce.

We continued the ride back into Collierville without incident (except for JR and Brian waving at cows).  It was a great weekend, good weather, great company, and just a lot of fun.  It was nice meeting some more of the CVO site members.  I appreciate all who participated, offered assistance organizing, and helped out navigating the B'ham area.

If you've never made Barber Motorsports Park, put it on your list of things to do!  The AMA races are just icing on the cake.  It's worth the trip to Barber just to see the grounds and the museum.

Hi PHAZE,
Those were great pictures. Thanks for posting them. On one you mentioned the museum gave you ideas for painting your bike.
I don't remember who this member is but this is what he did to his Haze.

I just threw in this photo because it was a '57 and any of you born in 1957 know that it was a very good year.  This is a Harley KR 750.

10-20-57 WAS MY DAY. :2vrolijk_21:   THANKS FOR THE PICS. ;D

After visiting the museum, we made our way over to the Motel 6.  Here are some of the bikes in the parking lot.  That's Gary in the saddle bag of his '03 RG.

LOOKS LIKE GARY IS DETAILING UP IN HIS SPARE TIME. LOOKING GOOD. :2vrolijk_21:

From where we were we could see a yellow bike about a 1/2 mile away.  It's amazing how those yellow bike's show up.  JR posted a big note above his bike where he could find it later.

KNOWING JR HE WAS PROBALY NOT FAR FROM IT. I THINK I CAN SEE HIM IN A TREE IN THE BACK GROUND. ;D COME ON OUT THEM WOODS JR. :huepfenlol2:
