Welcome to the 1/2 and 1/2 club Paul. I've got a CVO and non CVO. The danger is that you'll be melting down your credit cards bringing the non CVO up to CVO standards

You ain't lyin...the list so far:

I pulled the windshield. Maybe for long rides, but I feel too much like a "citizen" on it. RUB factor way high.
Apes...thinking Gorilla bars...Ask Naitram it makes sense.
New directionals. Especially the rears...gotta put a shorter dog bone on that ass.
Hand controls....brushed aluminum..functional but icky
Already dropped the pillowtop touring seat....It is HER bike..I merely pilot.
Need the pillowtop backrest for her.
Need passenger floorboards.
Oh...and I'm bummed I gotta change the rubber...but the ol' cop tires ain't built for two.

Still put about 150 on her late this afternoon...just to feel the difference.

But ohhhhhhh my...Stock exhaust....'nuff said there. I have some SE fishtails sitting in storage in Boston waiting for me in July.

Cop Motor..Cop Tires..etc.

"...so...is it the new Bluesmobile?"

I still love my FXR3 more.

The PORK is a great platform to work with. It should come with ABS brakes too. Check out what you can do with a PORK. This is a great alternative to a SERK. You can also get a 124" engine and Baker DD trans for it. http://www.ruckerperformance.com/promod/index.php Really cool chit! Hoist!

Hey Hoist you beat me to it. I saw a neat segment on I believe it was American Thunder about rucker performance. You are right, some really cool bikes from the PO RKs. :2vrolijk_21:

Hoist,

I checked out the RuckerPerformance link didnt find any 124's with Bakers there :)   where you get that from?

Other consideration is if your going to put that 200 on the back might want to consider the fatbagger inc stuff as well.   They also carry the transmissions accessories to convert over the 6 speed to the new swingarm, tire and fender setup.

Only one issue I found when I bought my police roadking was that they cut the hell out of the harness to do all the radio and light hookups.   I ended up replacing the entire harness with the same year classic roadking harness as that would allow me to hook up cruise control for the highway runs.

Harry, they featured one on American Thunder. The website shows the standard conversions. Hoist! 8)
