I ended up pulling the motor and shipping it off to a fella whom used to work for Hodaka to go through it and perhaps split the case for a new crank seal.  Damn!  In the mean time I also ended up purchasing an 1965 ACE 90 Hodaka from the same gal.  This one runs but needs a lot of cosmetic help, I've spent the last two weeks taking it apart and polishing and putting it back together.  I also ended taking the tank to a plater for new chrome. Should be a sweet little in town commuter to the store once and awhile.
