Hi cvTony,
Look at the thread "Lights on Ultra" I started last night. I was looking for information on where to tap the tail light and brake lights for these. They are Kury... Kurya... whatever. Someone posted the part number and pictures for me and even fixed the picture so that you don't strain a neck muscle looking at them. One dmn dathing leads to another dmn dathing! Someone posted a photo of a nifty rea fender light I need now! :P

Having trouble finding that thread. I was wondering if either you or your bike were hanging from the ceiling when those pictures were taken!

That's EXACTLY what I'm looking for.  Who makes them?  Can you remove the saddle bags once they're installed?

Yes, there is a quick disconnect for the wires.  Depending on how small or large your hands are you reach in between, unhook, then remove the bag or you remove the pins for the bag, lean it out a bit, unplug the connectors, then left it all away.

Tony...I like those spoiler lights a lot!!

I personally would recommend the Custom Dynamics strip for just under the Tourpack lid in the rear.  It is cage driver height and shows up well.  Very easy to install as well.  Several of us have done this.  There is a thread here somewhere, but I can't find it right now.  I'd be happy to help with any questions, though.

This is a link to the big thread on the LED lights on the Tour Pak.
page5 Reply#67 shows HAZER_52 moved the location to just under the lid between the antennas. First one to install additional LEDs put them on the chrome bar under the Tour Pak.
I think the visibility to motorists behind you is greater up higher.
I have the saddlebag lid LEDS also to show the width of the bike to others and increase the safety as well.

Got the saddle bag LED wings on also....after my tour pak is replaced on Monday, I'm going to work on getting the Signal Dynamics 6" LED strip and use their back-off module to have it pulsate when the brakes are used....you can look at the Signal Dynamics stuff here:  http://www.signaldynamics.com/

Tony,
There was a fitment issue with the top lid...it wouldn't close properly and the area where the leather is overlapped on the edge of the lid, rubbed a hole into the edge of the bottom piece, so the MoCo is replacing (one time good deal, according to them) the tour pak.  The MoCo stated that they wouldn't guarantee that it wouldn't happen again.  Wayne gave me a tip, that I'm going to use on the new one.  Put a small piece of electrical tape over the lip of the lower piece, so the top piece rubs against the tape and not the leather.  I told the dealership that I don't understand how the MoCo can only do a one-time swap out, that is a defect in workmanship and they should either re-design the leather tour pak or keep replacing it if it wears through again.  Now that I know it's an issue, I'll do the "Wayne fix" and put the electrical tape on the edge and shouldn't have the wearing problem.

John,
I'm on travel in Denver this week, but when I get home I'll take a pic of the area and post it.  But for now, if you look underneath the top lid on the lip behind the back rest you'll see where they overlapped the leather to make a rather large, protruding seam, if you follow to where it rests down to the lip of the lower shell you may see some wear starting.  If you don't do the "Wayne Fix" to prevent it from happening to you.

So Wayne, since your fix was electrical tape (from a "phoneman"), I would almost have expected Charlie to migrate to "ducK" tape (from a Sailor)!!!
Sorry, Charlie - couldn't resist.
