AJ,  if all you did was replace the cylinders and rings then all you need to do is to heat cycle the motor. Harley say's 4 times, many motor builders say 9-15 times.  Your dealer should have done that for you before he test rode the bike and let you pick it up.

Harry, Spiderman, HB, and yes even you Chip,.....Man you gotta love this place :2vrolijk_21:

Hogasm,

After all the chop busting you did to get Chip to call you and now you don't even answer your phone.

/Tar and Feathers for you !

Wow Brian your going to record the run between Hubbard and Chip very exciting, who is going to record the airing it out between you and Chip  and Hubbard so that we would get accurate video coverage of the events that unfold.   After what you said this morning when we talked I am wondering how your going to be able to throttle drive your bike so that you don't pass Chip and Hubbard thats tough to do when you got them all wound up like that  :nixweiss:

ok I am done stirring the pot for now ....

Hey Harry

He needs some more chop busting
Just called him again at 1:08 and no answer.
He must be working on one of the following,
1) That zoom for the video camera so as me and the Hub pull away from him he can zoom in!
2) A clutch,,, so that can't be used as an excuse.
3) A smaller back tire. He read what I posted about losing H/P with the wide tire and thought,
   O chit, I'm in trouble!
4) Or negotiating with Rhino to ride his wifes bike so at least someone can keep up.
(side note Brian,,, let Rhino ride his own)
5) RUT ROH,,,,,,,,,,,, the phones ringing

Yup it's him
Saga to continue later!

OK here's the scoop.

Brian said he would be there!
I offered to let him ride the Classic if he wanted to go fast.
No wait, the Classic is stock! Well, almost stock!
Should be fun!

Chip,

I surely hope you gave him some grief after him giving you grief for not returning his calls.   The real question is did he tell you about the 200 tire he bought, claimed it was for crash, but I am not convinced.   He cant use the motor mount as an excuse either so tell us what did he say, deny, or admit too?

1) never mentioned the tire

2) talked about the motor mount but alluded that it was fixed

3) said something lame about bike not running right because turn signal bulbs were bad

4) said he would be at MBBW if he got his work done

5) said he wasn't sure about Hubbard, Pete and Rhino but was almost certain my stock 03 Classic would outrun

Chip,

Brian eluded to me that you were prefacing playing with the excuse you would most likely break a belt trying to out run him.    Whats up with that built in excuses from both of you.   Hrmm battle of the excuses continues only ole hub is hanging out being sly now.

let us know is there any truth to this.    Actually he said he was working on the zoom he was worried htat if you fell to far behind it would have to try and zoom out far enough to show it was you guys.   Whose telling the truth?

:zwtf:   Oh Chip and even you Harry, the real reason I want to have the cam corder on the bike is to go back and check if either of you can tell the truth or not. If it is on tape then everyone will know. And yes I realize at both of your ages :nervous: what you say and really mean don't come out the same. Blame it on OLDtimers  :nervous:syndrome or maybe even CRS disease and I don't mean crotch rocket syndrome.

Have it on video and there will be no mistakes, but if there is enough money the tape can be bought.  did I say that out loud

ps    Chip and Harry, just remember if you don't run your mouth you don't have  to back anything up :2vrolijk_21:

where is that D I L L I G A F  emoticonn when you need it

Brian,

I never once ran my mouth .. Reading and comprehension are fundamental ya know.   For sake of clarity I ran yours, but if there is nothing to backup why all the excuses huh.   The video will be interesting for sure unless there is a rain out ya know.   I am sure someone, which one it will be I don't know or both will want to buy that tape .... seems only logical ya know :)

The dealership test rides the bike prior to new owners picking them up, so shouldn't the switching on and off be the dealers responsibility?
