Well, the only garage I have that I need to be concerned about is currently a blank canvas.

Cobaltman has the look I seek.  I have a couple of installers info to get a similar finish.

I just think a simple epoxy paint job will result in issues.  The system like Cobalt got is the answer for me I think.

Here's the blank canvas, won't be able to show how it turns out for a few months though.

It'll be a fine place to hang out when finished. Can't wait to see your finished pic's

Are you using it yourself?
I have used it in the past for a home gym floor.

Looks nice, but I just priced it....$3500 to do my shop (32x32), and it isn't even chrome. ;D

I see they also make an epoxy paint. That might make a more affordable solution.

Thanks

Hey Q, while you're checking, I'm looking for something also. I'd like to use something that snaps together like those you show, but that is a little pricey for a garage floor. And it don't add no horsepower! ::)  I need something fairly thin because I have a heated floor. Thanks Q! :2vrolijk_21: Hoist! 8)

My friend Frank has an awesome floor in his garage. it is the same material that comes in the Haulmark trailers, so there are very few seems for liquids to seep into. It is black with small (maybe quarter sized) round, raised protrusions. I don't have any of the details, and he is currently serving in the sand box, so I will try to e-mail him for the info. I do remember him saying it was @ $2k. I would guess each strip is about 8'x20', and he has 3 trips wide. e-mail going out in a min so have a little patience, Brother.

Nice durable stuff.

I've got about 20 sq ft of that stuff in the back yard. Seems to stain easy if you ask me. Sorry to be a killjoy.

I will send pictures tomorrow when I get home, but I went to Pep Boys (here in Texas) and bought their foam flooring. Cost is $12.99 and you get 4 2'x2' squares with edging. There is a reate for $3, so at the end of the day you get a lot for your money. I keep extras so that when I spill something on them, I just throw the old one's away. Check the ad in your Sunday paper for Pep Boys (if they have stores in your area). Really a great deal.
