Are You Experienced?
« on: May 21, 2007, 09:09:31 PM »

Here's a new one for me however not perhaps for the members of this site.

Have you ever experienced...

  • Lost the use of your headlight
  • Headlight works on occasion if the bike is turned in a certain position
  • Unable to have lights to turn off even after the bike is turned off and the key is locked
  • The only way to turn off the lights and other functions is to disconnect the battery

I assume a obvious electrical issue, however I was wondering of other people's experience in this matter.

Thanks.

Wifey just had a similar issue with her Toyota Van, the issue is that the wiring harness for the parking lights went through, of all things, the amplifier for the radio...it so happens that the amp burned out...quite literally and once the amp was thrown out and the wires bipassed it problem solved.  I doubt that it is the same problem...but I'm bored too!!!
