Spyder,
When you made your previous post I had this mental picture of Terry grinning and coming back w/a reply like he did. I didn't think he would let Diva have problems w/a zipper. If she needed help I'm sure he would be right there to assist. ;) ;D

Mike....didn't push that part.  The panels would be pretty waterresistant though, so running through a shower wouldn't be a problem.  I didn't test the inner shell.  I still like my Gore-Tex stuff when I'm really in the rain...

The outer panels zip off and store flat, so take up very little room.  The sleeve cuffs are lined with a fleece like material, as is the collar, so it's very comfortable all day long.  The only time I got hot was down near Maryville when I was stopped.  Moving, I was fine.  Suzanne really liked hers as well and loves the ability to change so quickly (though she is challenged when it comes to the zippers  ;D)

Love the jacket.   :2vrolijk_21:   Bless your heart for helping with the zippers.   ;)    :-*

Still considering FXRG, to replace rain gear and jackets for longer trips.  This one sounds really good though and will try it on when I get a chance.

Lisa also has zipper trouble at times and I NEVER complain.  ;D

just rode with my wife and I both in these jackets from Connecticut to Georgia and the Biketoberfest in Daytona and then back to Connecticut...love the jackets...rode in temps from 45 to 95 degrees and it always seemed like there was a comfort level that worked.  Plenty of venting, but at 45 degrees we both put the rain jacket on and it kept the cold wind off so we were still comfortable...also hit some rain and the rain cover does keep the water out too...highly recommended.

We wore ours while in MV...only riding jackets we took.  With a thin windblocker fleece jacket underneath, it was plenty warm down to the mid to upper 30's.  I'm thinking these will be fine for all but the coldest temps we ride in, particularly with good leather chaps or overpants.  The leather jacket may only see use now in the extremes, or when the expectation is not to see temps over 50 degrees.  Very nice jackets for 3 season wear in my part of the country.  We've pretty much worn them on every ride since early summer and things seem to be holding up well too.

Hey Terry,
Just got my transforation jacket today! Pretty neat. Love the color scheme. will take the body armor out, doesn't quite feel right.  Have you had an occasion to use the inner rain jacket? Was wondering how dry that thing keeps you  :nixweiss: john

I'm happy to say I've not had a chance to use it yet!  I see no reason for it not to keep me dry though, but it doesn't breathe, so would probably get uncomfortable in hot weather, like most rain gear.

On our trip to HS this year it rained about the whole way and I didn't put in the inner rain jacket and was surprised how dry I stayed without it. :nixweiss:

That's good to hear, JR...it says it's "water resistant", but you never know quite what that means 'till you get to test it.  Good to hear it worked well then, as it was fairly wet riding... :2vrolijk_21:
