Thanks. I'll send him an email and see what he says. Next time I'm at a dealership I'll try to remember to measure the OEM line at parts dept.

Wouldn't be surprised if their OE line was just a spool of hose that was cut off when needed.

It's just 5/16" fuel hose you can buy at Napa, Autozone, etc..

Hmm, didn't think about that. I'll have to check parts book and see if it has a number. Thanks.

I replaced mine with the 63698-02 Braided cross over, no disconnect. It and the stock rubber line measure 9 1/2". With no fairing and no lowers it would work great in front of the coil.

Thanks for the measurement info. :2vrolijk_21: I had looked into the MoCo's braided crossover but then heard about/saw the quick connect/disconnect and liked the idea of not having to drain the tank to take it off.

Raised the tank tonight and pulled off the rocker cover.  Found the rear center rocker housing bolt loose and the outer ones tightend a little too. The head of the bolt wasn't raised from the housing but it was definitely easy to turn.  Fronts were tight.  Reinstalled rocker cover with a new gasket.  May have got lucky-at least I know now how to do it.  The new gaskets were red and a lot higher quality gasket than the black cover gasket that was taken off.  The red gaskets part # had an "A" after them.

Boatman,
Good news! I was having a brain fade when telling you how tight it was. I was thinking rocker housing gasket. That was where mine was leaking. It requires removing the rocker arms and the housing and it hits the frame on the rear. I was able to get it off but didn't see anyway of replacing it without dropping the motor by removing the front mount.
I hope it was the cover gasket and not the housing gasket on yours.

Mike-

Once I got the valve cover (rocker cover) off, I was able to tighten the rocker housing bolts (which the 3 back were loose).  Thanks again for the help and hopefully I got lucky and don't have to pull it apart further.  Bob
