I saw the light in the catalog, almost ordered one!  One day the lining falls off, while sticking it back up the light comes on!  :o I hit it by accident!

This is also a kit, PN 54331-04, but the kit also includes two lights that replace the rubber bumper on each side of the bottom front of the tour pak.  These lights light up your saddle bags.  I had this on my Road Glide/King Tour Pak, I removed everything to install on the new frosty.  I knew the TP light was on the SEUC so kept all the parts to add the two saddle bag lights, so I guess I was right, there are no lights on the bottom for the saddle bags of the 08 SEUC?  These also “push” the lens to turn on/off and have a 5 minute delay, believe it or not, the way they are located on the bottom, they do light up the inside of the bags.   The bag only kit can be bought separate – PN 54333-04 and plugs into the other TP light’s harness.

If there are lights on the saddlebags, I can't find them.  But that doesn't mean much.

The kit they just sent me for the KTP I'm putting on the SERK is 54332-04. :nixweiss:

I asked for a light kit to go with the TP and that's what they sent me. What's with all the the different TP Light P/N's? :confused5:

Fit 1993 and later King or Chopped Tour Paks:

54331-04 is the full 3 light kit, T-P interior plus 2 saddlebag lights.

54332-04 is the 1 light kit, T-P interior only

54333-04 is the add-on saddlebag light for those who already have the 1 light kit (like the CVO's).  Sold each, two required.

Not sure why they did it this way rather than just carry/sell the full 3 light kit. :nixweiss:

Chit, knew you'd be adding more inside that tour pak.  Told ya so!

Ok, this won't add anything to the Deutsch connector though.  You only need unswitched power and ground to the light in the lid.  The two saddlebag lights connect in the harness after the light in the lid.  The light in the lid contains the controller that times everything.

All you'll have to do is snip off the end of the harness that would connect to the feed from the bike.  That's one power and one ground.  Connect them to the screwed terminals holding the 10g power and ground leads to your amp.  Voila, you're juiced.

Was talking to Brian and Rich tonight about making a small separate fuse block for all the stuff we're connecting directly to the battery now. That should get me the power for everything from the battery much neater. I figured I'd pull the power for the TP light from the same power source for the TP lid spoiler led. There's getting to be so much chit going on now, I'll have to summarize it with you once I figure out exactly what's getting connected to what! :nixweiss:

Looking forward to your "custom made for Hoist wiring diagram", with all the connectors specified! :2vrolijk_21: ;D

I figured I'd pull the power for the TP light from the same power source for the TP lid spoiler led.

Nope, that won't work.  Power (both of them) to the spoiler are brake light and running light.  You won't want the other lights only hot when you're pushing on the brake pedal or have the headlight turned on.

Those LEDs in the lid and over the saddlebags are unswitched.  You want to be able to turn them on even when the bike is off.  No concern about running the battery down with them as their master light in the lid has a controller that shuts them off after a few minutes if you forget to push the mystery button again.

The brake and run lights you're adding will already be fused as part of their standard protection in the fuse block.  So will whatever accessory source is chosen to send the switched power to the amp.

When you hit the car audio shop for the quick disconnects for the pair of 10ga cables ask them for an inline fuse for the same cable ( http://www.monstercable.com/productPagePrint.asp?pin=528 ).  Put that immediately off the battery and connect the power cable supplied with the amp to it.  With that single addition everything will be fused.

I can see it now...  :huepfenlol2:

In a few weeks I'll be elbow deep in the red bike.  Trying to figure out how the cylinder on the front hole got mounted upside down while simultaneously installing compression rings for the back cylinder in the middle of the pillion section of the Corbin seat.  Throttle body freshly welded to a piston (for the new "direct" fuel injection) while the other piston is out wandering around the garage calling "here wrist pin, here wrist pin!"  In the middle of all that semi demi deconstruction the phone will ring.  In hushed tones will be heard "Binx said I broke it, are you sure it needs all these parts :nixweiss: ?"
