No trip to Traxxion today. Max is out of town this weekend and next. Next attempt will be made on 6/29.

Dan is considering ordering 10 sets before the factory shuts down, just so they will have enough to handle the orders from site members.

If you are considering purchasing a pair of these shocks, calling Dan and letting him know won't hurt getting things moving sooner.

Had a chance to ride 100 miles or so with Suzanne on the back of the V.  I turned the spring preload about 3/4 of a turn on each shock.  Ride was very nice...Suzanne even noticed a big difference.  Never once bottomed or topped out, and hit some pretty good dips, chatter bumps, and bridges.  Shocks soaked everything up extremely well...very predictable in curves.  I've tested them enough now to know I'm going to keep a set on the V for sure.

Got to ride 2-up some on Saturday. I didn't bother with doing any pre-load or damping changes at all before riding. All I can say is  :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21: (2 thumbs up). I ran over every piece of uneven pavement, dip, hump and every other irregularity I could find, stopped just short of hopping curbs. The shocks handled everything very capably. They feel firmer than the Progressives, which probably accounted for not bottoming out at all. I used to be able to get the Progressives to bottom going through dips at driveway ends where there is a slight swale for drainage. Not with these. They do feel firmer, but not harsh at all, just firmer. I think these in 12" length would be great for anyone looking to lower the bike and still have a suspension far superior to the stock set up.

Hopefully I will finally make it to Traxxion this Friday, pending Max's schedule. I guess pretty soon, I'll have to pony up some money and actually pay for these. When I do, it will be money well spent.

Anytime!!!

I just spoke to Dan. He is looking to place an order this week. I KNOW the 13" shocks work great, but if you're on a lowered bike, the 12" shocks would be pretty tempting to me.

Dan is looking to order about a dozen sets total, some for us and some for the TLR group. What he doesn't get in orders from us, he'll fill with TLR shocks.

If you want these shocks before Italy goes on vacation in a couple of months, act now.

Traxxion Dynamics 770-592-3823. Ask for Dan.
