Tanks i appreciate it What is the best time of year to make the trip?

I think it is what ever you prefer.  For me, I like to go before Labor Day weekend BEFORE the crowd hits.  It can be nasty up there during the weekend.  Best to go during the week and then before 10am and after 5pm.

I'm a bit late viewing these pics, but they were awsome!  I told my husband...now that I have my own bike, I want to ride in RT, but not sure I'm ready for Tail of the Dragon.  I had a wreck on day 2 of owning my ride, and since it was on a curve, I'm still a bit slow on them...but one day I'll get there! LOL  As a DS Vet, prior USAF, I want to ride in RT real bad....and unless my son goes into the service, I'm the last one in my family to serve.  My military "heritage" goes back to the Civil War at least...hopefully my boy will continue the tradition!

Again...great pics!
