Hey D00d, this follows along the logic of the previous speculation of keeping the unadorned streetglide as a platform for selling all the extras. :drink: spyder
Works for me.

If one works from the premise that the gov'tmental doc is correct than we see a continuation of the current CVO model lines.  Guess that means that everyone who has bitched about all the problems so far was correct; and Harley decided they just needed more time to finally get them right  :huepfenlol2: .

Not to discredit the information provided, but haven't we seen these Carb reports/files (or some other report/file) before of models that never came to be? :nixweiss: For some reason the voices in my head are saying be reluctant the MoCo has done this before to throw a curve.

Sure did.  That was the single most interersting new thing in the product lists.  Years behind the curve.  They may be bringing ABS to the consumer market.  IF they're starting on a VRod I hope that means they've at least finally developed or licensed a system that is smaller than a saddlebag.

Don,  if they have indeed stuck an ABS system on the V, you can be damn sure it's not going to be big, 'cause there ain't any room anywhere to put anything larger than a pack of smokes.  One reason my PCIII is inside the airbox  ;D

Unless of course, they're going to stick it in a TourPak and hang it off the back of the V....Let's see, $2495 for ABS and a TP with 2/3's of the space taken up with an 80 lb ABS system...

Fired00d,

You are correct, Fired00d. These orders can and usually are updated AFTER the introduction of new model vehicles. If you will look at previous years of H-D filings, all are updated after the July-August new model introduction dates. This is why in my original post I stated "You can make your own deductions". Just food for thought. However, the food is based on actual filings that are required for vehicles sold in CA.

I'll keep digging.

Jacques,

Thanks for the welcome. I had done some research on the new models and thought you guys and gals may be interested in what I found. For now, though, I think I'll just keep it simple and remain words on the screen.

Later

Thanks egan for your research and very interesting informations.

No problem.
I’ve had some success at mining for information but Harley-Davidson is notorious for keeping secrets. I would venture to say about the best in the industry.

By the way, I ride a Night Train. I am considering a CVO purchase, just not sure which model. I doubt they will ever produce a CVO Night Train anyway. Actually, I was considering an FLHRSE3 Road King so that my wife would be more comfortable. Hate to give up my NT though. Maybe I’ll put my wife on it solo and I’ll ride the CVO.

Gary, there are a few notorious ones out there that folks occasionally fall for that were basically demonstration pieces for either new governmental applications processes or manufacturer's use of those processes.  The numbers provided within them, however, are so extreme relative to common sense or reality that the fact that folks do so commonly see them and accept is really a little bewildering.

OK, my prediction:
The SEUC³ will have a Custom Dynamic light strip standard and will be available in Orange with Black stripes (Orange being the primary color)  :orange: :jalapeno:  :orange: :jalapeno:  :orange: :jalapeno:
