If they (Harley) will release the paint this fall it will make it alot easier.  However as you stated, it took months because the right paint is only half the battle.  The process is what takes so long.

I've been trying it for a month now and it still ain't right when it's in the sun.

For anyone out west or anyone that has special paint needs, Hoist asked me to check out a painter he may use that is in my neck 'o' the woods.

This guy is an artist and does custom work as well as repair work.  He works for several dealers in the area on their repairs as well.

He is Paint by Gene and here's the website:  http://www.paintbygene.com

My cousin has personal experience with him and I can assure you if he has used him he is very good.  No one is fussier than my cousin.

Hey guys,
just getting ready to have a trailer painted to match my bike. Has anyone found any codes that match the paint on the red/black Jester? I know some of you have switched from the leather tour pack and have had paint work done to match....any help would be appreciated.

My paint guy stuggled for a couple days to get my trailer paint to match..lots of test cards. He finally got it done the night before we left for PA to tour the CVO plant with the stealer. I wll post a pic very soon.

MY BROTHER AND I HAVE FINISHED UP ON OR PAINTED TOUR PAKS THEY TURNED OUT AWSOME.

We have the Red/Blk 2007 CVO. The tour pak looks "Great". Thank you for the information.Would love to change mine.

Have the 07' blk ice/candy cherry. I have ordered spoilers and wonder if anyone would share any paint matchs they have discovered.  Plan to swap out tour pak during the winter and would appreciate any advise in simplifying the task that some of you have already suffered thru.  Thanks for your guidance.

The guy that did my trailer kept tinting till he got a match. I'm not sure if he has the formula to remix. See how you make out on your request. PM me if you don't get anywhere (since you have the time) and I will see if I can get some information from my painter.

Does the stock Leather tour pak mounting rack work or did you have to buy a new mounting rack for the hard tour pak?

Do the stock passenger backrest and the stock passenger speakers from the leather tour pak fit the new hard tour pak?
