Love Les Pauls.

Had a NASCAR 30th Anniversary Special that I sold to a guy in Florida during lean times.

Have my Epiphone Les Paul Standard, and a Signed Zakk Wylde Custom Shop Buzzsaw Les Paul.

...neither of which I can play worth a damn

I always said one of these days, never stayed with lessons long enough to remember anything.

I guess as much as I'd like to know how to play there have always been other things.

This is getting me thinking again though, that is a great looking SE Les Paul you came up with. :2vrolijk_21:

Over 45 years for me and I still ain't got any talent. Must be something else in common with CVOers, not the no talent, the inability to part with things. I still have my 64 Jaguar Jazzmaster and Fender Dual Showman Amp (pre CBS), along with 65 Jazz Bass, 64 Gibson EB2 (Cherry), various other strats and teles, etc. I can't part wit nuttin. If anyone is interested, I'll post some pix. To me, they have become works of art and represent more yards I cut than I can count.

Interested in your pics, especially that 64 Fender Jazzmaster.

Been to the Gibson factory - they had to run me out when they were closing.  I used to pick a little but not so much anymore.

I'd love to see one up close and personal without the flash effect in the photo.  Even in the photo it makes me tingle in my special places.

Fond memories of church camp when I was just a teen, a dobro, and girls who liked...... music.     Yeah, it was tingly.   :huepfenjump3:

I have a Gibson J-40D from 1972, Beerman.  Sounds better now than then.

Sold my beloved Gibson EB-2 to come up with the last $500 to buy my first house. Kicked myself in the a$$ ever since.

Know what you mean.

Sold a Fender Mustang, a Gibson SG, a Fender Super Reverb Amp, and other assorted goodies (Fuzz boxes, wah-wahs, stuff) over a few months time so the wife & I could eat in 1976.

I shoulda gone hungry.

Saw an original Fender Concertmaster amp the other day - not the redux version. Remember when they were not expensive.
