Nasty looking rash there Steve. I have seen some Bad accidents on that section of road over the years, Locals and Out of Towners. But I wont go into all of that. I tell new riders to the area to take there time ,dont push it and to enjoy the ride. I never try to keep the sportbikes behind me, I always slow a little and wave them by. Watch out for the trucks.

DavidB...love your area too...I attempt to make it up there 4-6 times/year.  So many areas to ride and enjoy...you are one lucky dude...As for my area, flat and straight...however it is on the coast and near several bike rallies...Daytona, Myrtle Beach, Pamama City, New Orleans...

I was really impressed by those big meaty looking peg brackets and stirrup arms.  Don't remember seeing those in the catalog when I was looking several months ago.  I like mine ok.  But those look good.

Just hope they prove be as comfortable as they are good looking.  Of course if you're like me you'll end up adjusting them a half dozen times before finally getting them where you want them..... [smiley=nixweiss.gif]
